In my last post I outlined plans for books to be published in 2024… and then 2024 did not turn out at all like I thought it would. I packed up my life, put everything in storage for months, and stayed with family from September to February this year, while I moved 1400km (c.900 miles) south. I also had to deal with my older sister’s estate (she died after a short illness in December 2023), I finished my Master of History degree, and I have started a PhD.

I am very sorry about the delays in publishing a new book and new editions of previous books. They will come. I’m really hoping that the new Hartdale Brides book will be out before the end of the year. I love the lead characters – David Penry and Lucy Shelbourne, née Braithwaite – I just need to get their somewhat complex story under control and to the finish line!
